Objectives: Co-ordinate efforts of scientist, conservationist, PR experts, affected business interests, policy experts and new voices to raise the profile of acidification and keep the worlds oceans healthy:  

• Ensure that prevention of catastrophic ocean acidification is recognized as a key reason for carbon dioxide emission reductions in any international agreements related to climate change.
•  Secure a substantial increase in funding by governments for research and monitoring related to ocean acidification and its consequences.
