Objectives: Realize some of the 70% latent energy efficiency in the global shipping industry, with a targeted initial Battle aimed at reducing shipping CO2 emissions by 20% on current working vessels and 35% for new-build vessels from 2012 (equivalent to a total of 660 million tones a year); in addition to a mandatory provision for exhaust gas cleaning technology, which will remove over 80% of particulate matter and black carbon as well as 100% of SOx.

• Obtain US/EU mandatory emission reductions and/or efficiency               improvements
• Persuade at least two multi-national end-customers to introduce sea-bound supply chain efficiency targets
